I’m Erin, it’s so lovely to meet you. You probably want to know a little bit about the person who could be standing up with you on your big day.

I grew up on Auckland's North Shore before moving to Waiheke Island six years ago to be with my now-husband. We ourselves got married recently in April 2024, down at the beautiful Man O War Bay. We have two young boys, Cooper (3) and Elliot (1) who of course keep us very busy!

Besides weddings, I also work as a full time primary/intermediate teacher. Working with tween-agers has taught me many things, particularly how to wrangle a large crowd and hold their attention (key things needed when officiating a wedding too!). I am a confident speaker with a loud 'teacher' voice who is used to personalising writing for various occasions, purposes, and people (I'm talking about you, report writing!)

​If you were to ask any of my friends or whānau to describe me in a few words, you would probably get 'organised', 'detail-oriented', and 'caring' awhhh thanks guys.

​I think I am one of the very few adults on this Earth that does not drink coffee; that doesn't stop me from enjoying a sit down catch up with my couples at a local cafe though! When I am not writing ceremony scripts, teaching kids, or being mum to my own children, you can be sure to find me with a glass of wine, enjoying re-runs of SVU on Netflix.
